I use to collect unicorns when I was little. Not the real thing obviously...
I like unicorns because they sybolize beauty, magic, pureness...
I like dragons because they are just too cool. Spyro, that little game character, is cute. There are all kinds of dragons so you can be really creative with coming up with one.
I love cats so I like the thought of a cat being able to turn into something.
In the movie "Howl's Moving Castle" (sorry, not sure how to spell it) I love all the fantasy elements. I think the guy turning into a bird was cool.
The Totoros in "My Neighbor Totoro", a movie I loved as a kid, are awesome. They are unique creatures that come in all sizes and each do something a little different. I remember them smiling reallllly big too and you could bounce on the tummy of the really big one. :) How fun would that be?
I also LOVE the fairies with the striped tights! :)
Have a nice day/night.....

Centaur for sure. A creature that has the speed, grace & power of a horse with the dexterity, reasoning and looks of a human.
As for if they existed? well, the images of mermaids, centaurs, sphinx, etc crop up all over the world. Either all civillization sprang from one place (so share all the same ideas, fantasies) or something like that once actually existed.

Unicorns are pretty neat and there have been beautiful tapestries about them, and later art.
Did you know that in the Middle Ages there was a regular trade in Unicorn horns ? The Ivory horn of the Narwhal, recovered from the northern seas, fit the mythic descriptions perfectly.

Depend on your definition of fantasy creature, if you're open about it mine is the Yeti or Bigfoot, I also like dragons and phoenix, and Fenrir or Fenris, The giant wolf of Norse mythology.

Since I met my husband who was looking for a lady to help him find the last unicorn, I love unicorns.
I have a unicorn headboard, napkin rings, and all the ornaments on the Christmas tree are unicorns.
My husband and I wear unicorn wedding rings.
