When I wash it with soap, rinse and dry or use Windex, it still looks oily, hazy or streaked.

You can pick up cleaners at Wal-Mart and the grocery store. They are generally bottles located around the oven cleaner. Easy Off makes one, but my favorite is made by Weiman. I get it at Wal-Mart. Weiman also makes an enamel cleaner in a wipe similar to the disinfectant wipes they sell. The wipes are great, but the cream cleaner works better on the burnt spots.

Go to a store like Sears, or anywhere they sell the stoves without eyes and ask them for the bottle of cleanser that is used to clean those type of stoves. Also, you are not to use a scouring pad on these stoves, you are to use a razor blade to clean off burnt on matter. I think you will like the cleanser.

There are cleaners specifically for stoves. Look in your local hardware store's cleaning section for stove top cleaner.
