Your fire place blower works just likea forced air furnace/AC blower does. You have air that enters intake vents that go to the blower. The blower then takes that air and forces it out of the unit. There is in most cases only one blower on a fireplace unit. If your blower is not working the problems is most likely an electrical problem. Check the on off switch to see if it is on. If it is on then check your circuit breakers. If all of your circuit breakers are on the problem that you have will require an electrician.
