I believe in global warming as I witness or directly experience its effects pretty much every day. However, there are still "normal" weather patterns such as cold/hot fronts, the jet stream remains active and the perceptible change of seasons.

Thank you for giving me reason to ignore everything you say. Global warming does not refer to 'day-to-day' weather occurrances, it refers to a long term increase in the AVERAGE surface temperature of the Earth. Nobody can 'witness or directly experience its effect pretty much every day'. That is WEATHER, not CLIMATE.

I talk about my local weather everyday and sometimes it leads to the the new and true issue of global warming. The CO2 level in the atmosphere is on the rise along with it's temperature.I believe that in our life time the oceans will rise as much as predicted and many millions of people will have to relocate, just like they did,out of New Orleans after Katrina came ashore...tom science
