I'm a new homeonwer looking to get two fairly large trees in my yard cut down. I'm looking for the company to haul off with the limbs but leave the trunk and also have the company grind the stumps. I'm trying to get a price range for what I'm looking at.

I hope you're talking about trees, not tees being 2 feet, 6 inches in diameter!! whoo!!!

Dont you know that you decrease the value of your home when you cut down a tree? Its true! Try cutting down a few limbs and save the tree .... well, unless it is dead already.

I do not know the average cost there as I am in Mi but I will tell you that it is never cheap.
If they seem really cheap check them out before you use them.
A couple of words of advice as well.
One is to make sure that whoever does the removal is licensed and insured.
You can get a local phone book and see what the yellow pages has to show you to.

I think the height of the trees and their proximity to the house will be a significant factor as well.

Why don't you just call landscaping services in your area and get estimates? Why are you asking here? That's what the yellow pages are for!
