Trust! And really, who cares. Were you a virgin on your wedding night? I think it is highly unlikely that she would have such a painful surgery to deceive you. Concentrate on being a good husband and loving your wife. Virgin or not, you're married now.

Trust - if you are asking this question you must have trust issues. Don't believe the stuff you heard as a kid, she probably didn't bleed the first time. Especially if she uses tampons.

You can't tell for sure.
Women are far too active today in sports, horseback riding, etc.. to always have intact hymen in any case.
There are multiple reasons for it to be broken, not just sex.
