Yes it was sad. Anakan really did love Padamae, but his love for power consumed him, and that was his downfall.

I know people were dissapointed with the prequils, but I'm sad its over, like a really good book. They probably wont make anymore, but wouldnt it be great if they continued after Return of the Jedi?

The whole saga is sad, especially the first 3 (chronologically) since it's about the tradegy of one mans fall from grace and all the misery it brings to those around him, loved ones or otherwise....

Yeah, Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader is supposed to be tragic. It's not meant to inspire warm fuzzies.

I'm sad that's the best they could make the film. It just seemed so childish in some parts.
