To get the ñ symbol hold down the Alt key and key in the numbers 1, 6 and 4 using the number keys on the right of the keyboard, release the Alt key and the ñ symbol should appear.

To get the Ñ symbol do exactly the same but key in the numbers 1, 6 and 5.

Another way is to use a program such as MS Word and click on Insert from the top menu then click Symbol from the drop down menu. This brings up all the available symbols - highlight the one you want then click Insert, this will insert the chosen symbol into your Word document from where you can copy and paste it into e-mails, Yahoo Answers etc.

If you want to see the full list of symbols that can be inserted using the Alt followed by a number method then refer to this page... http://www.lookuptables.com/

An ñ? In Windows XP go to start->all programs->accessories->system tools->character map. Find the ñ and then choose select, then copy. Then paste it where you want it. You may have to press ctrl+v to paste it if you don't get a paste menu.

Piece of cake Ñ ñ

Just copy and paste it from here. I have a program that does all the unusual characters. You just click on the letter or symbol you want and that puts it on the clipboard for you to paste anywhere you want.
If you send me your email address, I'll be happy to email it to you.

On a Mac, press ALT+E and then the N.
On a PC it must be ALT+something (140 I guess)
