Edna Bambrick is the name of an older age woman that often comes to this site with every chance she has. Supposedly, she mostly comes on to report any violations whatsoever on anyone she can. As I heard, the reason why she does it is because she feels as if she is making the Internet safe. After a while, she became the most popular individual (celebrity) on this site because she was the most hated as well. Many people then tried to report on her with any reason[s] they can find whatsoever and I believe they succeeded in it. Yet, it didn't stop there, because her celebrity status continued on within the site, even though she might have been suspended from here. As a comical sense, some people thought it would be humorous to impersonate her on the site by creating screennames with her name as it, also her picture included as well. Not long after, it got out of control, because it sparked the 'Edna Phenomena', whereby many more users followed in-step by replicating the same antics as the original pranksters. This is when many 'Edna imposters'; sprung up all throughout the site, as it continues still, thus creating a cult. Yahoo! had taken the action by suspending as many suspicious Yahoo! Answers accounts that is the sole intent of impersonating Edna. Yahoo! did the same as well with questions pertaining to the subject of Edna. There are many of the 'Edna imposters' remaining somewhere out there parading around while impersonating Edna. Also, it continues that many people who do not know who Edna is, asks about the whole 'Edna phenomena'. That is so far all I know about the whole phenomena.

Edna is a person or persons that come on the Yahoo Answers and has about 25+ Avatars - all of them similar and all of the names having Edna in them.

Edna Bambrick has quickly become one of the most popular people
on Yahoo Answers. There are people that know about her but there
are more people that DO NOT know about this recent phenomenon
that has been around for several years but all of a sudden with the
invention of YAHOO ANSWERS has exploded on the scene.

YAHOO ANSWERS has deleted and have sought out to erase the
legacy of Edna Bambrick. They believe she is an Internet Troll
designed to create havoc on their YAHOO ANSWERS website but
she is not as simple as a Troll. She has become an ICON. She is
about moral behavior on-line but she is also the #1 subject of
ridicule. There are a lot of entertaining Photoshop Pictures of Edna
and plenty of fans that wait to see what questions she has next and
what picture will pop up next on the YAHOO ANSWER website (Polls
& Surveys) (Entertainment) (Yahoo Answers) also other random
sections of Yahoo Answers.

YAHOO ANSWERS has erased and deleted questions about EDNA
because they believe the curiosity is making the Troll spread but
they are wrong. People are just bored and they want to know what
the hell is going on when something interesting is happening.

People are blaming EDNA for the deletion of questions and they
believe they are being reported when it is YAHOO ANSWERS
themselves that are removing the questions.

The real EDNA does appear on YAHOO ANSWERS from time to time
sharing her advice and offering her prayers. She still reports people
for Vulgar or Inappropriate behavior.

You can't be on this site very much....She is many different
"EDNAS". She is in this category every day or night. I continue to say she is a HE. She can be very offensive. She reports people for no reason. I don't know why Yahoo Answers tolerates her. She will come after me now because of what I said about her.

Just flip on this category and anything you see with EDNA is her.

more likely a he, the ednas are whats called an internet troll the best way to get rid of them is to ignore them completly.
