When you're getting close to your delivery time, there's a hormone called Lactase i think it is, but anyway it makes your pelvis soften so the baby can get through it. I'm 36 wks and ive had something similar and the dr told me that it could be that hormone, the baby pushing on my pelvis, or the way the baby is laying. You should time them and see if they could be contractions, but I think your baby is fine. Good Luck and Congrats!

Could be Braxton Hicks contractions. How far apart are the pains? If you are looking at 5 minutes or less, get yourself to the hospital. Otherwise, call your OB first thing in the morning to see what he/she thinks.
Your body is just getting ready to bring your beautiful baby into the world. Congratulations!

It could be your body getting ready for the birth. But you shouldn't be experiencing so much pain down there. Yes, absolutely, call your OB and explain it to them. You can never be too careful.

G.M boy you read my mind...I don't understand people like you. Pregnant 37 weeks, jumps on here to ask questions that should be addressed with your OB_GYN..Please remove your dumb azz off the computer and put up the da*mn phone to call your OB-GYN..Do the yahoo members need to spell it out for you? It's obvious...
Some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids, and you just proved it..

Sounds like Braxton-Hicks to me. (It's what happens as you get close to your due-date, hun. It's normal.)
