It's called High School Musical, only the most popular most watched most dumb Disney Channel Original Movie!
They met on the set, duh.
I don't know if they're dating or anything. Who cares about Zac Efron anyways?

Zac and Ashley were good friends before the movie Highschool Musical. So, however they met before the movie.

zac and ashley met way before shooting high school musical and the suite life... i know this because i watched an interview of ashley, she said she already knew zac, they flew together in utah to shoot high school musical.

they knew each other before they were really that famous..i dont know how but their friendship grew by the suite life and especially high school musical
