i'd say it is possible. my asshole grandfather married his mistress ( she knows he's already married) in the usa while he was still married to my grandmother in the philippines. grandfather and his whore's marriage is valid in the usa, but not in the philippines because there's no divorce in the philippines. that's why whenever they visit the philippines, they aren't husband and wife, they're adulterers.
