No, but it will make things easier. You only ovulate from one ovary (typically) a month, so if the open tube is not on the same side as the released egg, it is unlikely conception will occur. If only one tube is open, pregnancy can certainly happen, it may just take longer. Good Luck!!!!

No, it's not necessary to have both fallopian tubes opened but it would help. Since, eggs alternately get released from each ovary.
So, it may take her a little longer to conceive.
It does not extend your menses.

No, you only need one side open for a pregnancy.
As long as the ovum can make it's way down that tube.

no but it increases your chances. My sis just had dye through hers to check for blockages. Maybe you should check into this.
