In elementary school I had a 'How the West Was Won' lunchbox. To this day I still have not seen that darn movie.
In the 6th grade I had a 'Transformers' lunchbox. I really loved the Transformers toys at that age but middle school is a time of transition and I got picked on a LOT for having it. I started bringing my lunch in a brown paper bag but I still had the Transformers thermos. I had to kinda hide it in the bag and hope that no one ragged on me too bad. I was pretty good with the comebacks when someone did but it was still this huge embarrassing thing.
I wish I could relive those years, knowing what I know now.

Mine is red. It has a picture of 4 horses and says "Avis leading the way". It's from a call centre that my daughter toured when in Girl Guides and they all got a lunch bag for free. I use it whenever my work schedule is too full to go home between shifts. Tomorrow I have an extra 4-hour shift from 9-1 but am supposed to be someplace else at 1 that is a 20 minute drive. So I packed my lunch to eat in the car. Tomorrow is a holiday here but for me it's "What Holiday?"...I always get stuck with extra shifts because someone else wants the holiday.

Lunch "pail"? Isn't that from, like, the pioneer days? LOL ..Yes, I DO have a cool lunchbox or two, oh,........ OK, a whole flippin' COLLECTION of cool lunchboxes! Just another cause of the clutter that we have to take half-a-year to get moved out of here.
My #1 best lunchbox is Puerto Rican, about "Juvenil" delinquents, all in Espanol, depicting different thug situations.
My next favorite is "Invasion of the Monster Women". I keep plastic "Monster Women" toys inside it. My next favorite is "Betty Page". She has Betty Page postcards inside. How organized.
Then "Spiderman" is cool and so is "The Munsters". I have too many to list.

I sure wish I did.
However, I am very efficient and use Wal-mart plastic bags. I always double-bag to prevent breakthrough. Y'never know. I do most all of my grocery shopping there and have a real neat stainless steel container-dispenser thingy for plastic bags on the side of my cupboard in the kitchen. I have nice clean bags every day.
The only drawback is that many other people do the same thing. So, when we all put our bags in the company fridge, you have to remember exactly where your's is so that you don't have to go through them all. Seems like I'm the only one smart enough to double-bag, so that usually helps identify mine.

I had lots-o cool lunch boxes when I was your age -- I had a really neat bright orange Muppets one back in 1983, as well as assorted metal ones which were later banned, because kids took to bonking each other over the head with them. I think one of mine had Care Bears on it and my brother had The Dukes of Hazzard.
