how do i fix the scenery from showing blue areas for land in flight sim 2004?

i just installed fs 2004 on my brand new computer with tons of speed, memory and graphics. even at the basic resolution, i get spots of blue water where there should be land, and the scenery messes up when showing airport signs and other land object. i installed the update. how can i fix this? what is going on??

I'm afraid the best people to answer that question would be those who made it. Before you do that remove the game from your computer, reinstall it and the updates, and see what happens, I'm assuming you have the disc. Also once you've removed it through the usual procedure search your computer for all files and folders related to the game and delete those too.I wish you luck and happy flying once you've got it sorted out.
