Nothing in life is that simple or black and white. This isn't a John Wayne movie where the guys in white hats fight the guys in black hats.
Care to tell me who is/was at fault for the Catholic/Protestant fight that has lasted 400 yrs?
People are being killed on both sides - niether is good or evil the Lebonese family that is trying to pay off thier morgage is no less of a victim than the Israeli family trying to do the same thing.
Vilify one side become one sided and the war goes on with strikes and counter strikes forever. Hezbollah has completely vilified the Israeli's they are no longer people who live and breathe -they are animals to be killed because they will kill and have killed "our" children.
The Israeli and US have done the same thing - All muslim/arabs are incapable of thinking - insane warriors - not people like us .
Move a little - don't accept the murder on both sides or either side and realise that both sides are humans just like you -
Realise Israel is capable of wrong and Hezbollah is capable of doing good (ie schools hospitals) .
The only reason I use Hezbollah as the example and not Israel for the above sentence is the media are portraying Israeli suffering and so forth just fine - the other side is no better.
Get it? Not defending anyone - Learn to see everyone as a human being just like you or your great grandchildren will be fighting a 400 yr bloody battle and by then there will be no right and wrong just dead suffering (both sides) hate and rich coffin builders going to lunch with even richer arms dealers

How childish. Just because Hezbollah started it doesn't mean Israel has to throw a tantrum and destroy a whole country, kill hundreds of people and make half of Lebanon flee in terror. They are completely out of order, and someone should threaten them with sanctions unless they start acting less like the "axis of evil" they oppose, and more like a responsible nation. Is this the "civilization" the Dubya and Bliar defend?
I do not hate Israel. I do not support Hezbollah. But I don't think that it's fantastic that hundreds of people who have absolutely no control over this get killed. Did Britain flatten Dublin when the IRA bombed Downing street? Did Spain destroy Bilbao when ETA bombed them? No - because the majority of people want to live a normal life, and don't want trouble for themselves by joining a terrorist group.

First, you have to understand that Hezbollah was a legitimately elected government (Although the their political beliefs and practices are on the "extreme" side). Then you have to look at the way Israel is handling the war. They are firing missiles into residential neighborhoods as well. They too are killing Innocent people in the process. Israel is viewed as the terrorists in that part of the world. They are also a dominant military power. If you don't have the means to fight a full frontal war, you will fight however you can with whatever you can.

Who says Hezbollah is a terrorist group? You and a couple of million more.
Who says Hezbollah isn't a terrorist group? Another couple of million on the other side.
I say both Hezbollah and the Israeli Defence Force are both a bunch of animals, not caring one little bit who gets in the way of their blind hatred for each other.

Hezbollah is supposedly a Revolutionary Organization 17 November team, maximum living in Lebanon, which helps this team. Hezbollah is in contact in politics, yet in addition many crimes. the US needs them to disarm, yet they gained't as a results of fact their objective is to break Israel-created from Jews. they do in comparison to Jews and in the event that they disarm they for sure can no longer fulfill their objective.

Some people never learned, specially some countries. I mean look at it, UAE just gave $ 1 billion to hezbollah so they can kill some more innocent people. But when tsunami strucked thousands of innocents in SE Asia, they didn't help anyone with anything. UAE government is one of those countries that are promoting terrorism instead of helping get rid of it. To me, they are Jack A$$eS.

It's not a terrorist organization in the Middle East. They have a legitimate political arm and a more shadowy milita. We call them a terrorist organization in much the same fashion Brits would have called the Continental Congress terrorists.

I don't know what these people think; it's weird. They think Israel is deliberately bombing Lebanon when their real target is Hezbollah. Israel isn't anti-Lebanese or anything; they're defending their right to exist and trying to keep themselves alive for another 50 years.

Good question. Personally, I despise Hezbollah and everything they represent. I wholeheartedly support Israel's efforts to defend itself.
