I don't. But the reason is obvious...and stupid.
But I guess I'm kind of guilty because I do call my boyfriend, white chocolate sometimes.

I like sarah's answer. The question would have been good if you said why are white ppl called crackers sometimes. Not all black ppl call white ppl that and they aren't the only race that says it.

Because they think we are white and bland like crackers and I think they are implying that we are lacking colorful personalities. That is just my take on the meaning.

It's a slave's term. It came from when they would crack the whips on the slaves back in the civil war era
