Monistat cures a yeast infection if it is in the vagina. Walmart sells a generic brand "Equate" that costs about 20 percent of the price of Monistat.

Taking a tablespoon of vinegar daily with water will help prevent yeast infections and promote gastro-intestional health.

No, it might clean your vagina and bring some relief from the itching. You're better off buying yogurt plain with a high live bacteria count and smear it on your labia. To prevent yeast infection, eat regularily yogurt flavored one is fine, or get Acidophillus from the Pharmacy or GNC and take as per instruction.

There are perfectly good over the counter medications like Monistat for yeast infections. Why would you experiment on your body when a tried and true remedy is available?
