my friend is 13 and im 15 shes never stated her period and she told me that theres been brown stuff in her underwear not poop im scared for her is this possible or is she lying what is this

Rememer how it was for you when you started bleeding.
It usually starts with some brown stuff. All girls don't start bleeding around the same time. I was 12 & my girlfriend was 15. I'm glad you're concerned & you're her friend. Just keep talking to her & help her out.

Well if this is the first time it's occured or its very light and once a month than it could possibly be her period. You also give off a different type of discharge down there, it's normally clear. If shes having a colored discharge that is not her period she should speak to a doctor becasue it can be a sign of infection.

its normal. when a period is ending it will sometimes come out a little brown. its completely normal or it could be older blood. dont worry. read the always website or other pad brands.

it might be "old blood"(blood thats already clotted) alot of women get it
