Not when we got teachers who make very little, not when we got people who risk their lives, like police officers and fire fighters, they don't get rich and they can get killed on duty, not when the letter carriers don't get rich yet they deliver mail in ALL sorts of weather, not when the everyday single mom has a hard time putting food on the table or getting in all necessities because she has to fish out for daycare. How is it that a celebrity would buy $300 pair of shoes when some every day people who labor hard but have to rely on thrift stores!
True, the celebs may not know who their real friends are, but guess what! I'm an everyday person, and people get phony with me lots! Celebs may have safety trouble sometimes, but guess what? They can afford a lawyer. Some everyday people can't pay for a lawyer when there's a urgent need for one.
Either the celebs should live like us, or just be out of the business!

In a free society everyone deserves to earn as much as they can legally get, even celebrities!
Do you work? Do you earn what you think you are worth? Would you turn down a raise?

Sure they do. Think about it. If you ever do make it big as an actor, you open your whole life to a world of strangers. You put yourself on display 24 - 7. Not just the movies that you play in, but every action you take and every decision you make is laid bare for the world to judge you on.
Can't say as I'd want the spotlight on me day in and day out, cause the light might fade, but it never turns off.

Yes, they do deserve the money they get. They have to pay for protection from stalkers and stalkerazzis. Also, once they are no longer known personalities, they usually don't have the skills to do much else. Look at the kid who played Arnold and the kid who played his brother, both are just making it and they spend more time in the news for their antics. So let them make their money while they can, hopefully they can put enough away for later.

Deserve......I think NOT. There is a whole world out there of hard working people who don't make near enough to make ends meet for their families. I think these celebrities are just "lucky" that's all.....not so much deserving though. I dont see these other hard working individuals getting a "million" dollars....do you?

Well yeah.. i mean they dont really know who there true friends are, hiding when they go anywhere so they dont get followed around by tabliods... everything they do gets published in some magizene and they get NO privacy...
I would never want to be a celebritary because of that!

no....it crazy paying them that much and have an extravagant life while there are a lot of ppl sufferring. Why dont they share what theyre supposed to give to celebrities to charities instead.

No. They memorize lines and act, they memorize plays and pass a ball - Their salaries are as overinflated at their egos.
They are not heros, most don't make good role models, and they don't save lives.
They don't deserve it.
