Why put so much money into building new mansions for the government and research for such things as growing ears on poor mice, when we could be looking at other planets and maybe developing science fiction type things such as flying things and really fast aircraft and computers the size of rices grains?

I'm with you.I think we should put more effort into space exploration.

Well if you explored the inner space of the planet first all the mountains of gumpf dug out would no doubt make one mega sized ship with which to sail the stars.

As a bonus you'd have created a lot more living space which by the judicious usage of mirrors could be made into quite a neat little growth factory for a multitude of projects and quite possibly save a bit of energy in the long run too.

But wouldn't it be far easier to lasso the moon and bring it down to earth instead.

As for ears on the backs of mice, no doubt they've got a set of their own but if they haven't I'm sure a hole in the head will suffice.

Space exploration is good but it is still risky and will always be risky. It is something that is going to have to develop slowly. Also, I don't think that the technology is advanced enough to consider wide scale exploration. Look at the foam on the space shuttle. How many years has it been and the problem is still there.

Because we don't have enough money for everything all at once...the ear thing is important too...and they won't open it up to the private sector.

Everyone's so damn worried that someone will kill themself trying to get into space...how do you think we came to the Americas? If you bought a boat and set sail...GOOD LUCK! If you made it great, if you didn't who cares, it was your choice. We need a little of that in space exploration.

I watch NASA TV as often as I can. Even the rudimentary stuff we can do in space nowadays is fascinating. I for one am serious when I say we should cut back drastically on social service payouts to the many economic parasites we have, cut back on the public service areas and stop foreign aid. Result; billions we could channel into space research.

My views on space exploration is: look what we've done to the earth. We've destroyed it. We shouldn't be 'allowed' to do that to other planets. Let us stay here and suffer our sonsequences or figure out how to fix what we've broke (ie the ozone). Then we can think about leaving earth.

One sad word...Econimics. All the free world leaders only have one thing in mind which is in the here and now. Exploration out of this earth is not even on the agenda because of fear of the taxpayer not re-electing them again.

i think of that we ought to constantly attempt to seek for recurring planets for us on the instant. till we manage this undesirable economic device, we ought to constantly no longer be blowing away billions of dollars just to discover the water density of the moon or some thing like that. surprisingly, if the money is being taken out of our wallet. i'm involved approximately area return and forth, and that i desire humanity ought to progression in this container as quickly as attainable. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, we must be life like whilst dealing with those issues and opt to do whats maximum suitable for us at present 2d. we are already attaining lots by using launching satellites to help us hit upon greater concerning to the universe. perhaps, in much less then 30 years we are able to be waiting to flow to mars. i could somewhat decide for to be alive for that.
