I hate it when people play mind games! It is like they are trying to test you to see what you are like, but in actuality, they are just wearing you thin! How many of you agree with me that mind games are childish and rude?

They are not only rude but cruel and dangerous.
Above all of my rules in social behavior, avoiding hurting the feelings of others is by far the top of the list.
People who try to manipulate, play headgames, and ignore the emotions of others, are self centered, deceptive and shallow.
They are often incapable of telling the truth, or the truth they could tell just doesn't suit their purpose.
They often turn out to be liars and abusers.
Cold and hard hearted, selfish and self-centered, unkind and dishonest, it takes all of these traits to 'play' that game.

People play mind games to see where you stand. Exactly as you said. They make you think, and without them, you may end up being very stupid and living in a dumpster somewhere. Where would humanity be if no one ever tested another's capacity?? Get over it, it's not like you're the only one it's happened to, you're not that special.

Narcissism and sadism go hand in hand. Such people are struggling with self mystification and like to squeeze value out of their own vunerability. The power game that turns the quest for personal power into the 'power of love', a treacherous twist of words. Paranoia is at the bottom of it.

The most unnerving part about a person playing mind games with me is that I suspect they only think they can get away with it because they think they are smarter than me. SO yes, it is rude because it is INSULTING. They need to grow up!
