i like the styles that come out each year. sometimes. i just wanna know who comes up with them then decides that that style is in. who decides that the others that we all used to wear are now out.

Basically all fashion comes from the "Couture" designers. They come up with a collection each year and during fashion week show their stuff. With in each design house you will have other designers who do designs (more mainstream) under the Couture designer's name. There are also many famous designers who do only mainstream clothes (Gloria Vanderbilt, Liz Claiborne, etc. Other clothes companies then copy these styles into varying prices depending on which stores they sell to. Buyers from these stores go to "fashion market" and determine what they will buy for their store based on the current trends and demographic market they are in. It is up to the public then to purchase what they like.

Fashion forecasters travel all over the world and predict the next big fashions because the fashions ussally hit places like europe before America. Designers are the ones coming out with the fashions. and its really the public and celebrites who decides whats in depending on how well they respond to the designs

usually big brands .. thats what i think .. like Prada, Gucci, YSL and all .. then the others watch their fashionshows .. and start copying loool they are called designers for a reason :) they come up with different ideas ..
