If you don't like our country being free then why don't you leave?

Go live in a dictatorship where the government watches and listens to everything you do.

Go live in a country with no minimum wage or social security for old people. See how you like it.

Not all Republicans are against America. It's primarily NeoConservatives and Conservatives. You think Eisenhower is anything like Bush? He actually HELPED the United States, something the last couple of Conservative presidents had no care to do. In fact, it wasn't until people like Nixon, Goldwater and the like that it was actually a bad thing to be a Republican, due to the fact that they stood for what most Democrats stand for now, the main being progress. The first Progressive was Theodore Roosevelt, and he was a Republican.

Are you talking to just the fascist extremists who hate freedom, or are you assuming that everyone who is conservative or who votes Republican automatically falls into that category?

The problem with questions like this is that it creates a category of people, then assumes that all the people in that category think and act alike.

Now, if the category is properly formed, then that's valid. How do you know someone is a Republican? Because they support the Republican party. What else does that mean? Absolutely nothing. That category is far too broad to mean anything other exactly what it says -- that the person supports the Republican party, and at least some of the platform that party supports. Which part of the platform? You can't tell from the category because it's too broad.

How do you know a fascist extremist? Because they act in an extreme manner in support of fascism. But that doesn't mean they all come from the same religion or the same state or the same political party.

And trying to equate one to the other, saying all members of a party or religion or country are extremists, or even saying all members share all the same beliefs, defeats not only the purpose of the discussion, but any value that discussion might have beyond hate-mongering.

Who do the people who hate America hate America? Because they aren't willing to tolerate differences in belief and culture and faith and ideology.

The questions we ask show an insight into how we think. Often far more than the answers we get to them. Think about that.

Uhmmm... this is a Republican telling off Democrats question right?

Cause that's the way I read it. If Demonrats don't like freedom then they should go live in a dictatorship where the government watches and listens to everything you do and they have no social security or minimum wage.

Cause we citizens of the United States do have all of this.
