Geroge Washington, some of the founding fathers, various American presidents and world learders were members of the free masons and other secret socities. Do you think secret socities i.e the illuminati, opus dei and others are controlling world leaders and man made events in the world today?

They do exist and have some influence between World leaders but there is no one controlling group in the World. The great days of Masonery are over as they were at thier hight in Victorian times. The scull and bones that both Geo. Bushs belong to is another you forgot.

Ah yes, the old conspiracy theory of history. Actually, there have been, are, and always will be secret societies, and some of them are made up from some very powerful and well placed individuals (like the Council on Foreign Relations). As for who really controls events today? The special interest groups who have bought every member of congress, the senate, the president and vice president and every other powerful politician. The only good thing thus far is that no particular special interest group or industry has an absolutely controlling interest. I hope I'm long dead before that happens.
