really sharp, almost stabbing pains on the right side like it was your ovary, just lasting like a second but making you hunch over a little because it was instant sharp pain? every so often. anybody else have that? and if you know why, maybe you can tell me.

If it happens about 14 days before your period then it's probably ovulation--the pain is called mittelschmerz.

I have and it is always the right side .. when you do get pregnant the egg always begins to grow on your right side ...so if your looking down at your belly, it would be the right =) ..anyways it could be that you are at the beginning of a pregnancy ..you could be ovulating, some women do not feel it but others can be really sensitive to it

But i am not a doctor so I really don't know whats wrong with you but I wish I did because it happens to me ..and I've never really took the time to ask a doctor - Maybe that could be something you can ask when u go for your next OBGYN or even general doctor

take care,
Jenna

I did but on my left side and I had a Laparoscopy. They found a cyst on the ovary and some endometriosis. I would go talk to you dr. Good luck.

Some people have very painful ovulation. Is this occurring 14 days or so before your period. If not, or if it gets worse, I would definitely ask my doctor. Good luck!
