No. Titanic was bigger than the Olympic, and the Olympic was also on the sea on April 14 1912. It did receive the distress signal, but it was to far away to assist. The other sister ship Britannic was still being built (launched on 1914) obviously was not even on the sea. Britannic (served as a hospital ship during WWI) sunk on a mine in 1916 ( Again because of WWI). Olympic survived and was still in use in 1934. It was sold as scrap in 1937.

apparently. the titanic was damaged in a test voyage and was switched with its sister ship due to all the hype in the press, the amount of money involved and also the repair time . would you spend major money to travel on a maiden voyage knowing it had already been smashed. this is only tv theories of course, but it made me think how viable it was in theory

No. As both ships (Olympic and Titanic) were build at the same time for the same cost, how would sinking one $1,000,000 ship instead of the other $1,000,000 ship make them money?

No its not true, it was the titanic that sank. Whaqt would they make money on? if anything they would loose a ton of money if they lied about which ship and how many people knew? had to have been loads if it was true.

Nope, it was the Titanic, it sank, a whole bunch of people died.
They were mostly rich people. Jack Johnson, a famous American boxer was supposed to sail on the Titanic but they refused to let him on board. They told him the ship would "carry no coal", ironic isn't it.

if people spent as much time and effort on their formal education as they do on conspiracy theories, they would be much better off in life.
