The best way to find out is to have monkey-sex with him. If he comes back for more, then he probably has very strong feelings towards you, if he doesn't then he didn't 'love' you at all. It's a win win for both of you, just make sure you practice safe sex.

It requires trust. When the guy says it, you not only have to take a leap of faith and believe him, but you have to know whether or not he's the kind of guy you think is WORTH making that leap for, and that takes time. How much, I can't say, but it'd take more than a month, I'd wager.

Love works both ways; just because he gives it doesn't necessarily mean you have to accept it. The best thing to do in that situation is to do some soul-searching. Ask yourself, "Is this the kind of guy I'd want to be with on a more serious level?", "Is he worth the potential heartache?", "Do I really want to be in that kind of relationship right now?", and so on. Ultimately, it's your call. Make it a good one.

Does he look you lovingly in the eye when he says it?
OK where are his hands at this point?
I think most guys mean they love you more than they have ever cared for a girl before but before you go to far give it time and let it grow.
Make sure it is not puppy love or something your going to regret. Getting married and having kids is the easy part just remember were the ones usually working and raising them after the divorce while they are out there chasing the girl they are in "love" with. :-) Just my opinion and lifetime experience

If you're sleeping with him or he's trying to convince you to, then he's lying. HA, everyone says that, but there's a reason! Not always the case, but usually when people say they "are falling", what you should hear is BUT I'm not there yet--they are having doubts still or thinking, if it was a million years from now and I was ready to get serious then I might actually be in love with you. :-)

You don't know. Love is part faith. You just have to have faith that what he says is the truth. As long as you don't have the feeling that he is using you for something, sometimes you have to take a risk and believe. If you scrutinize his motives too much, y ou may drive him away. Enjoy the moment. If he doesn't love you, it will show in his actions.

Ask him where he feels the relationship is headed. You will find out shortly whether this is sexual attraction and chemistry or genuine love. Remember, real love happens when you love someone and are truly concerned about their body, mind and soul. Real love is NOT loving how someone makes you feel about yourself. That is self love. Also, in marriage, you know that person is right for you because you CAN"T LIVE WITHOUT THEM! Good luck!!!

I 'fell' into Love (years ago) and the last thing on my mind was 'sex.'

I was so damned scared of scaring her away and of having to deal with my own powerful turmoil filled emotions, that 'sex' itself was a long way off.

The one who convinced me was the one who could tell me that he loves me without wanting to jump my bones until the wedding night. I'm sorry, but anything else is just lust.

If he starts to act stupid around you, he's probably telling the truth.
