People are mean because they have a false sense of security that they are better than those who they mock. I guess it gives them a feeling of superiority and because there is so much pressure in today's society to be the best in everything and better than everyone else, at soon as there is an opportunity for mean people to show to others that they are more capable, they boast about it. I think people only show their 'meaness' when it can be witnessed by others around them, in order to make themselves emphasise their importance...hope this helps!

people are mean because others were mean to them and they do the same. people know they can be mean and do it because for some it is fun. people who are mean don't have manners or feelings except for themselves. people think they are cool or better if they are mean and get away with it, it is like an addiction. everybody is mean sometimes, even the 'good' people or 'church' people

Mandy is the prime example of b****** and a*******. She's one herself. I try not to be mean but when I'm attacked for no reason, it's really easy to be mean. It's called being on the defensive.
Unfortunately, there are tons of mean people, maybe they are just having a bad life.
It's bad enough you would have to even ask. What has this world come to?

It's what they have to do to make themselves feel better. Rather than come across as cocky by saying all the great things they are, they'll put others down and make them look like the victim. This is one of the reasons why it sucks being a nice person.

I'm guessing no.
Some people just are too caught up in their own lives and problems and you might be at the wrong place wrong time and get the brunt of it.
Or maybe they just really have a terrrible attitude towards others in general.

sometimes some people just have bad days,and are mean when they normally wouldnt be, but others are mean because they are miserable and need to make everyone else feel that way in order to make themselves feel better

Because they have their own insecurities. They feel if they can get you mad, sad, or upset, they are curing a part of themselves. When in reality they are just surrounding themselves with the hurt they feel inside. So when it's all said and done they'll be alone.

because they are just stupid. dumb, dumber and dumbest. they are only shallow humans with little brains and smaller hearts. I also believe they have no God's Love in em either. I usually just pray and stay away. keep yourself around people that truly care for you and distance the nasties. you be nice and that will draw nice to you.

it is in the evil nature of man to be thay way onlt with Christ do we change into some one who can truly be loving and kind and even then we battle the old man.
