i hav a few friends like that nd it pisses me off too. i think some of them want 2 intimidate black ppl some times, while the rest of the times they're jus being idle. but hey, some black ppl do that sumtimes too! Yeah, its funny to watch white ppl make an idiot out of themselves sumtimes, but jeez, u hav to know wen to give it a break!

Well first of all, there is no way of acting the opposite race. Some white people talk differently than African Americans, Asians, and Latinos. Everybody has their own accent. I'm a black woman and some people say I talk "white" because I say the word 'like" a lot. After every other word I'm saying the word "like". Acting black or dressing white is a form of style. You should respect his style, he knows what race he is and don't act like a RACIST because he choose to talk with an different "accent".

I'm sorry, but I think that's an ignorant (or at least not well thought out) question to pose, or at least a stupid way to word it. The terms "acting black", or "acting white". I understand what you're asking, but that's a dumb way to pose the question. Everybody is different, and it looks bad on your part to stereotype people or define them by what you see in the media, or wherever you developed this ideology. Growing up, I always spoke "properly", and was always said to talk "white", which I'm sure most would say is an inaccurate statement, because I'm just being me, and my parents taught me how to talk in a proper manner. It's not a good idea to generalize people and sum behaviors up as being "black" or "white" behaviors. But again, I understand what you're saying, and it is annoying when someone is not their selves, and act out of their normal character.

The only thing that really bothers me is there are alot of women around here that date or are married to black men. Well, i don't see nothing wrong with that if thats what they want to do, but i do see something wrong with it if they try to wear their hair like black women and start talking and acting like they are black. Why do you have to change who you are because you married a person of another race? Maybe that person married you or started dating you because they liked the fact that you where different?

Bow up all that you want. I'm a Creole mix, with white, black, French, and Chickasaw bloodlines. Mais ami, don't hate me cuz you ain't me. These are things that are part of my history. The next time you see a light colored "Caucasian" using "black vernacular", you might want to take a closer look at their roots. Mais enfant!

I have learned one thing in life. Some people you just need to accept them for who they are. Some whites behave that way because they may have been raised that way. Others might behave that way because it is their choice and they think it is cool. My view on the situation is to accept thme as they are. As long as they are not out there breaking any laws and being malicious, let them be. That is one thing I have learned over the years. Some whites might just be interested in the African-American culture. You need to stop being so judgmental.

I agree with B.A.P.S. everyone has their own "accent" and the certain style that each person has. Its just a new "accent" hes trying out. But its his choice to do that. I also have ppl that say I sound white, because I don't use slang all that much and pronounce my words correctly. But its just who I am. Its my own personal "accent" and style no one elses, so just let him be who he is for now. He'll probably do it for a while then get over it, no biggie.
