Does anyone remember when they were a kid (esp. In england) you would never see this! I once asked my mum if she would date a white guy and she said no they just dont do it for her and black women usually see white guys as weak but my dad said he would date a white woman in a heartbeat.
But as I have got older I see tons of black women with white guys these days.
Anyone else finding this?

I don't believe in being socially correct so here goes. People fear what they're unfamiliar with, as our cultures become more ingrained it's bound to slowly break down the dating/relationship barriers. There is a certain curiosity about people of other races. They look different, they may think different, and that excites most people, no matter how much they deny it. Kind of reverse racisim. Thats what I occasionally see in small town midwest America. It can actually be a status symbol for some folks. I wish and applaud more noble causes and views. I'm a pessimist. I wish the world was a better place, I just don't see it very often.

I was brought up in London after the war.
In those days, Initially many of the males migrated without their families. Their main intention was to seek employment and acquire some capital in order to return home within a few years but the fact is that many remained for a lifetime.
In reality I think they are more white girls that go out with black girls.

Fifty years later the Uk has become Multy racial.
I think now it's accepted which is great.
I go out with girls that I'm attracted to , and have something in common.Colour does not come into it.
If you want to go with a white guy , thats great, but chose the right person, not his colour!

Good. About time race stopped mattering. I'm white, and my boyfriend is Sri Lankan. Some people have commented on this and sai it's unusual. I don't think so. I don't judge a person on their skin colour.

The one culture in which this is still most strongly opposed is the asian culture, where it is even unacceptable to be with a Sikh if you are Hindu, or someone of the same religion but who speaks another language, in my experience. So many parents break up their childrens' happy unions for this reason, and it angers me to see it.

I think by the time our generation's children (I'm twenty), are teenagers, race will no longer matter when seletcing partners. I sure as hell don't care who my children date as long as they're good to them, and are law-abiding honest citizens. Why should race be an issue?

I have seen a few black woman/white man couples in the last couple years, but most interracial couples I've seen are still white woman/ black man. My niece recently married a man whose parents are a white woman and a black man. I have a niece and a nephew who were adopted from Korea as young children. Some of the family are Protestant, some are Catholic. Some people call us a "fruit salad," some say we're "mixed nuts!"
... Whatever ... we love us!

I see some Black women with white men for the wrong reasons. They'll claim that white men treat you better and all black men are full of s--t. Black men give themselves a bad rep by going on Maury Povich and Jerry Springer, but there are trifling white men out here too. Then some of us blacks still have this color complex thing that if we marry someone light skinned, Puerto Rican or white, our kids will come out pretty with "good hair." These are silly reasons to date a white man, or to think that all white men are rich so you date one thinking you'll become the next Melinda Gates or Mrs. Trump. I just like who I like, I find some black men attractive and some white men attractive, but I'm married to a black man and have never dated outside my race, I'm just awkward with situations like that, it would take me awhile to warm up enough to get intimate with a white man unless he was super hot.

In the past 10 years here where i live it has became normal to see whites and blacks mix, i dont even give it a second glance anymore.where are you from?...its the mexicans that i dont like to see with whites but thats just my oppinion, call me racist if you want.because i feel that the only reason the mexicans are with the whites is a easy ticket into america..thats the only reason i dont like it..heck if a black person fell in love with a white person thats great..but its not for me.the only thing i have to say on the matter is dont have 5 or 6 children if you cant afford them..but if you can spoil all of them....

Hey, as long as your female and have anice peronslaity, then I couldn't care less what colour your skin is.Hopesully, all you ladies think the same, or else my chances are massively reduced.

It's what's inside your soul rather than what's outside on your skin that is important.

Some people actually look beyond the outside of a person. They see the human being beneath the skin.
