A science center has 22 special exhibits: 12 on life science: 11 on space science:and 9 on earth science. One deals with all 3:6 deal only with life science: 2 deal with both life and earth: and 3 deal with both earth and space.

Earth only = 9 - 2 - 1 - 3 = 3

To complete the diagram:
Life and Space = 12 - 6 - 2 - 1 = 3
Space only = 11 - 3 - 1 - 3 = 4

By using a Venn Diagram, it showed me that 3 exhibits deal with earth science only. Science only doesn't make sense to me. They're all science exhibits, but 4 deal only with space science.
