it could fall to a buck a gallon if for just one week no one bought gas in the us it would force them to sell at a lower cost.
as long as we have a president that made billions in oil chances are oil prices will never go backwards. People should do background checks before voting a president but most people do not feel the need. Thats if you choose to believe your vote counts - I don't and feel the one with the most money has always won the election and always will even if they have to make the excuse the votes were tampered with.

All people do is complain but there is no movement to halt its use. Big business makes money, the administration in Washington is big business oil people and will not help the average person. Can you imagine Americans not using their cars or boycotting a gas manufacture! Never happen because we would not be able to agree on the right day or the right manufacturer.

No and they will keep going up as long as the Middle East has problems. Bush has done us no favors. Cheney is making a mint with his Halliburton stock. Halliburton was charging the army $600 a gallon!. Bush and Cheney won't be happy till we are paying that here.

One could hope.
The oil companies have now got it over $3.00 a gallon we'll be Lucky to see it stay at that price.
It took the oil companies 80 years to get the price over $1.00 and less than 20 years to get it over $2.00 even less than 2 years to get it over $3.00.
Do you really think they will lower it?

The world popluation and demand will continue to increase (unless we have a good Nuclear Winter which would probably be brought about by a war over ...oil!!!!).....while the amount of oil in the eart will continue to shrink.
Increased demand + Decreased Supply = Higer and Higher Costs.

No. I hope gas gets more expensive. It is around $3.50/gal where I live, and hopefully when it reaches $5/gal people will start thinking about riding their bikes and maybe start thinking about not driving their trucks on the riverbar back and forth like idiots.
