I have a guy friend who is 1 yr. older than me thats really nice, but sometimes he hits on me like all the other guys. It's truly annoying, and i think he might be trying to manipulate me...once he even tried to shove a quarter down my shirt! what do I do?

leave him!!! he is trying to bring your self confidence down to nothing if it is abuse report it if he comes to you go to a public area and get away from him.

treat them like you would any other friend. If a guy does something like that to you again kick them in the nuts, that will give them the message ;-). I went through a similar experience where a guy i hardly knew was coming up to me and trying to put his arm around me, i would push him back but he didn't take the hint and he kept doing it, and then one time i was with some of my really good friends that were guys and he came up and tried to put his arm around me and my friends surrounded him and told him to back off and he did, so there are 2 options, hope i helped

You run and don't look back. It will only get worse. Most guys are not like this...you need to figure out through counseling why you are attracted to guys who do not treat you right. Stay away from any boyfriends until you have a better view of yourself.
