I mean, common. Wouldn't you rather be turned on by the horrific grotesque nature of something a tad bit more exciting, say "Counter-Strike: Source"?

The Sims 2 is so popular because it's actually geared towards both males and females. As a female, as if I'd want to play a "shoot-'em-up" game. Ha! No way. I love Sims 2 because it's like Barbie for adults! You can dress them up and do their hair and then you can make them have families. My favourite part is having children and experimenting with the genetics.

I think its fun because you can just be someone else. Be as different and out going as you want to be. Thats the whole appeal and angle they were going for if you ever checked out any of the interviews with the makers of the game. Its just a chance to escape one life and get down and be someone new through a game. And I love both 1 and 2. But I like two better, something just so exciting about when they have babies.

It's extrememly addictive, that is why it has become so popular, and I like both sims 1 and 2 I like the fact for sims 1 making magic and being a singer or something like, but for sims 2 I like the age factor and the babies and other reasons that I don't really know why.

The original one is better because it as not realistic as the second one. Some people like different things as you should know already. There are no regrets for the person playing the game; only the sim in the game. It's just fun for certain people not nessacarily everyone likes it or hates it.

Those who love the Sims don't really know why..I mean all we do is control fake peoples' lives and stuff like that..I guess if you just really start to play it, you realize how insanely addictive it is..
It's like you're hypnotized by the random kitchen fires and annoying Goth family always visiting without permission....

You can design your own people. You can also build one- or two-story homes with swimming pools. You can have maids and butlers clean up after the little people. You can customize furniture, wallpaper, floors, even provide weather and make the little people do magical things, like grow or shrink or fly. You can even upload your own photo and make a skin/face out of it, and you can design clothing, walls etc. and share them online. It's a very enjoyable program.

I have no idea. It's a damn stressful game. It's life in a game...what the hell do I want to play that for? I'd rather shoot something to relief the stresses of the every day real world.
