I'm relocating to columbia, south carolina area. What plants really thrive there? Can i grow all year long? or is the climate much colder in the winter? I'd be growning for food source mostly.

Thanks!

You can grow many fruits and veggies for most of the year! Colder weather veggies, like lettuces, will thrive, but almost anything will grow there the climate is so mild!

i live in north carolina and the temp doesn't vary that much and i can tell you that there aren't a lot of things that will grow through winter. the only thing i know that does good are certain types of greens such as turnips and mustard. on the other hand the winters are getting milder here just not mild enough to support a lot.
