I have a hand water pump and the only marking is a large star.?

This pump has a gear type of drive on it instead of the usual pivot type of handle set up.
I am in Nebraska and am going to sell it but am wondering if this is a rare type of pump for this area. It only has the star marking and a patent date of 1905.No other markings

So my question would be is it worth anything?

best thing i could suggest would be to contact an antique dealer.
