I don't think you should get anything because your "friend has one" especially a bunny!! I have a rabbit. He is the BEST bunny in the world but he is ALOT of work. I have two cats and they are NOTHING in terms of time I spend cleaning up after them, playing with them, feeding them, maintaining their cage, etc. They are VERY, VERY high maintenance (but worth every second of it).

I have a pet bunny (it's an Angora one with the long fur) and it is ALOT of work - you have to regularly brush it, clean the cage, and they need quite a bit of exercise. You can consider it a cross between a hamster and a dog - it lives in a cage, but you can treat it much like a dog in the way you can take it for walks, etc. They usually live for about 10 years or longer, so if you will be going to college or moving away in that time, you should probably stick to a hamster or fish for now, until you can be guaranteed that you will have the time for the bunny.

If I were u, I would consider getting a pet Chinchilla. They have no odor like a bunny, and they are very playful. Their fur is the softest ever, and they are easy to take care of. All they need is food, water and a dust bath every day. (you can buy the dust at the pet store) because their fur can't get wet.
They are the cutest things, you'll see!

Does your friend like their bunny? Maybe your friend can teach you how to take care of a bunny. You can also learn how to take care of a bunny on the internet. Make sure your friend's bunny and your bunny don't have baby bunnies! LOL

well. first ....think............... a pet isnt something u can just put away when u dont wanna ply wif it. i learnt th the hard way. but i decided that im up for the job but my pet is a dog. a bunny isnt as hard though. u will need ta bring it to the vet, clean its cage out AT LEAST 1 tyme a week i recommend every 3 days cause it might stink up ur house, potty train it if ur gonna let it roam about, feed it and give it water, n most of all love it

It depends on your age, if you have a proper place to keep it,and if you are determined to take care of it yourself. I have had bunnies and they are cute, but lots of work, and some are not gentle enough to be pets.

Before you get one you should do some research to see if its the right pet for you. I suggest you read the House Rabbit Handbook and go to these websites. Rabbits aren't affectionate like a dog or cat they have their own quirks and you need to be able to read it. Also domestic rabbits should be indoor pets. If they are outside they are subject to heat stroke, hypothermia, predators, and flystrike.

bunny's are great pets. but please if your get one give him/her lot's of space to run. l've had many bunny's as pets l loved them all but l made sure they have lot's of room to play plenty of food and water. lt really breaks my heart to see people take a bunny as a pet and keep it in a little cage with little or no food and water. So please be responsible if you do get a Bunny.

Get a Chinchilla ... They are adorable and fun. However, only get a pet if you are capable and willing to feed, bathe, give it exercise, etc on a daily basis. This means you, and not passing off the responsibility whenever possible.

Bunnies SUCK! My boyfriend got me one and it was all cute and cuddly at first. Then it turned vicious! I have a scar on my chest from that little f**ker! >:(
It got to the point where I couldn't get the food bowl out to feet it cuz it always tried to attack me. I had to distract it on the other side of the cage.
