Hey!!!! I am going into ninth grade so I have been there before......not to long ago in fact :) well in my opinion I would wear something that made me happy, comfortable, and expresses me well.......it also helps if it makes you stand out a bit......it should represent your own style and make you feel really good, even a cute t shirt or polo and jeans would be great.......you dont have to dress up........trust me you will find that theres no pressure!!!

on the first day, people are more trying to figure out their new classes and stuff than looking at what everyone else is wearing. go really basic on the first day: jeans and a plain or graphic tee. check out what cool people are wearing, and if you like it, draw inspiration from there.

For the first day of school? I suggest a cute pair of jeans if its chilly where you live, or a jean mini skirt if its warm where you live. For the top, I suggest a cute halter top or cami-inspired top. Maybe a racerback cami. Flips flops for the shoes.

Wear jeans & a t-shirt, or shorts & t-shirt with flip flops.
Follow your schools dress code [if one is in place].
