HP or Compaq, they're about the best in the market for Quality laptops right now.

Acer Falls apart, dell only offers a 90 day warranty. Toshiba is over priced for what you get.

I've had 1 HP and 1 Compaq, and my friend just bought an HP. Coca Cola also contracts with HP to provide all of their computer stuff. They're the best right now. The rest is iffy.

Check some review sites, you'll see.

If you EVER need to replace ANYTHING, make certain that it is available anywhere.

Dell & Compaq parts are "dealer available only". HP client support IS in India. Big deal.

HP and Toshiba are good names. Check the web for replacement costs of the battery, HD and and any CD / DVD drives. And the power supply.

If these are not availble "new" from anybody but the PC maker, avoid these companies.

OMG why cant people start comparing brands and actully say the model? In a retarded voice: I got an HP haha you have a dell that thing sucks ooh my friend has a Toshiba blah blah blah. You all make me sick! I would build my own laptop if I had the money. But it is possible. I already make my own PCs.

often computers are far extra sturdy than laptops. they're extra useful laid out, have loads of room interior so have larger warmth sinks, larger followers and are tehrefore not companies to over warmth issues that are the main important reason of failure in laptops. On genuine of that they don't seem to be carried from place to place so dont get everywhere close to as many knocks and impacts. they're additionally a techniques extra common to repair or improve for the reason that all of them use 'prevalent' aspects. till you definitely want the income of portability then a pc is mostly a a extra useful determination.
