You need to be a good communicator. You need to be able to delegate projects with clear communications, you need to be a good teacher so you can show the employee what they need to do, and you need to be a motivator. You need to think quick on your feet. You need to be a disciplinarian when the employee trys to take advantage of you.

If you're applying to a job that needs experienced management, then the KEY here is to provide an actual example or two of how you've managed and supervised your staff. Someone with practical experience supervising others can easily talk about their management style, decision-making process, and situations that have actually happened.

Now if you don't have practical experience to discuss, then you'll have to describe your personal philosophy when it comes to managing others. For example, how you would best motivate employees, how your decision-making process works, and your management style.

The KEY here is to provide me with a good sense of what kind of manager you've been or would be. This will help me decide if you're the one for the job!

Yes,
Divide the people with similair abillities with each other in to groups, as people who think alike will be more likely to produce results. Use a Gannt chart to optimize workflow and stick to your management plan. Use an electronic clocking system to monitor work progress. Evaluate progress with the actual time estimate, if lower, then increase the workflow.
