under the dash on the left side.
And yes there IS a fuse for them.
I'd be more concerned more about the switch though.

Because you have a short circuit in your tail/brake light wiring. Engineers designed the dash lights to fail at the same time so that you would know something is wrong.
For a fuse? Try asking a Pontiac Dealership.

convinced, they are unlawful everywhere contained in the U. S. because they are an unauthorized replace to a federally mandated protection gadget. Enforcement varies yet when you're fascinated a pair of rear end collision the position someone has run into the decrease back of your vehicle and also you've were given smoked tail lighting fixtures, think ofyou've got to pay as a change of the guy in the back of paying, and your insurance gained't disguise it because of your unlawful replace. EDIT - it truly is against the law in each state even if you've been to position in bulbs to make the output similar. The lighting fixtures require certification, a procedure it incredibly is impractical for someone. The police aren't any further the precedence; the attorneys are.

There are usually fuses in two locations- In a box under the hood and under a panel somewhere in the interior of the car (check somewhere around the steering column).
