That sounds really serious to simply find an at-home solution to...if he was vomiting blood, I suggest seeking medical advice. It could be symptoms of a more serious condition.
Tums, Peptobismo and Rolaids generally help with digestion. If you are looking specifically for foods, maybe yogurt will help, as it has yogurt has live cultures that may aid in digestion. However, I am not a medical professional. Again, I strongly suggest consulting a doctor.

Acidic foods like sauce should not have this kind of affect on normal people. Heartburn is one thing, but vomiting blood is a sign that something else is not right. May be an ulcer, or worse. I really would suggest you consult a physician, quickly.

I have a ulcer and some good natural foods to help is sweet tea while eating and plain white bread
but if hes vomiting blood it is very possible that he may have a bleeding ulcer and should go to the doctor and have it checked. If that is what it is he'll need to have it fixed or it could kill him

I agree, have him see a doctor ASAP (like, tomorrow). Throwing up blood means his gastric lining is being eaten away by something. Natural foods alone won't be enough to fix something like that.
Have him go to a gastrointestinologist.

flaxseed tea will buffer the stomach safely.
Apple cider vinegar will rebalance the ph to normal levels.
You can do an internet seach on how to take them.
