I believe that they can charge you tax on the food. But I check on a couple of places that deliver. They charge tax only on the food when it is deliver. Like for example: Domino's Pizza or Caesar's Pizza Pizza they do charge 2 taxes one on the food and one for delivery. So, now I pick it up.

i always been charged tax on pizza. the only time u dont get charged tax for food is at a grocery store. this is in MI
its every service clothes, food, tvs etc.

where i live you can be charged for tax on everything its state mandated in the state of arkansas im not sure about navada but we get taxted on everything so it probably is legal.
