Kind of hashing the english language are you not????

You may or may not find a way to change the format, but my player can play both US dvd's and UK ones, so you could just give it a try and see if it works.

if you are downloading it onto your hard drive, and it plays fine then you should be able to read it watch it etc. on any good burning software, just when you go to burn it, tell it what format you want it burned to your disk as, just know that when you go to a lower frame rate format it will not look as good and maybe choppy, when you read it of the disk. also If I remember right PAL, and NTSC, is more about the way it is burned on the disk and read from the disk, not on what format is used.
