if I am in the right section or not for this question.I dont like putting it this way turkey baster.....I need to know how long sperm last , how long does it stay alive out side the mans body till placed in a womens body?

Outside of the body, sperm won't last very long - maybe a few hours. Simply because it's so much colder than human body temperature.
Through sex, sperm can last up to 4-5 days inside of a woman's body. If you want to become pregnant through other means than sex, get artificial insemination instead of using a turkey baster....

I'm not expert, but I think it's 24-48 hours. I know sometimes it can take that long for the sperm to reach the egg inside a woman. You should be able to Google this and find the answer. Good luck!

i can't tell you exactly in terms of minutes, however, some lesbian friends of mine had a personal agreement with a sperm donor (meaning, they didn't go through an agency or medical program) and he was in one room where he did his business in a cup. it was hurried into the next room where my friends were waiting and they used a syringe (not a turkey baster, hehe!) and squirted it all up there and kept elevated for about 20 mins. they have one daughter and are expecting a second in december! so it does work!

It lives inside a woman for 72 hours, but outside a woman it only lives if it continues to remain in some wet form. Once it dries, all the sperm are dead.

As soon as sperm gets oxygen it dies...
Sperm need a warm wet environment to survive. They can live 3-5 days inside a woman.

If placed into another living body or maintained at body temperature, it can live for about 24 hours, otherwise they will die with in about 20-60 minutes.

I think inside the womans body it can live up to 72 hours
outside like on the sheets I think 12hours but I am not 100%
