Don't rinse or use douches. There are natural bacteria in yuor vagina that keep you clean there. Douching and plain water disrupt the acidity there that keeps tha bad bacteria (ie the STINKY ones) from growing. Stop cleaning it so much. The fishy smell is cause by bacterial infections (very common, like yeast infections. Clean your bottom from front to back to keep the anal bacteria from getting into your vaginal area. Visit your dr. if the smell persists for more than a few days. Sometimes a woman's pursuit of "freshness" is what gets her introuble in the first place.
It has nothing to do with what you eat.

I've heard that if it's a fishy smell, it could be some type of vaginal bacteria. I forgot the name of it, but I'd strongly suggest u see a doctor. It's not supposed 2 smell fishy or have abnormal discharge. It has nothing 2 do w/ what u eat, but there could be bacteria. Don't worry- it's treatable w/ antibiotics and it's not an STD. Talk 2 ur doc! Good blessings!

You may have a yeast infection. If you go to the pool alot - make sure you wash your bathing suit every time you wear it. Take your time when you urinate - make sure it all comes out before your leave the commode. Sometimes when you are in a hurry this happens.

I'm not sure what you can eat to make it taste good but I know things like coffee, red meat, smoking, etc... all effect the way it tastes/smells, and not in a good way. ( I'm going on what my husband told me about taste btw.)

Angela M is right about not douching the vagina - this kills all the good bacteria making you open for the bad ones.
I would reccomend milk, honey, apples, and citrus fruits for flavour... mmm... tasty...

It's a good idea to check with your doctor to make sure you don't have any infection going on. If all is well eat lots of yogurt, that's was advice from my doctor.

most people smell fishy during their period. vegetarians have less body odor, if you're willing to give up meat.
