is the security light on? This is a big thing with the grand ams, make sure the security light is not on before u do anything else. If the light is on, put the key in the ignition, turn the key to the on position (Do not try to start the car), leave the key in the ignition for about ten minutes (the car will ding when it recognizes the key).

FIRST----lets start this by say----THERE IS NO TIMING BELT. This motor has a timing CHAIN. There is a very small possibility that the chain has jumped. There should be a relief valve (like the valve of a tire stem) on the fuel rail. If you turn the car on and you hear the fuel pump run, turn the car off and push the valve. Bring a rag, it may spray you and everything else. If you have good pressure---rule lack of fuel out. After that I would let the fuel dry and pull one of the spark plug wires off and put a screw driver in and lay it across metal but not touching. Have somebody crank the engine and look for spark. If no spark, you have narrowed down the problem. My best guess would be the ignition coil packs( im not sure but there may be a module they attach to.....these usually go before the packs unless it is one whole unit).

i am about 95% sure that if you do this, it will start right up.

SECURITY RELEARN PROCEDURE

In the event that your vehicle fails to start after installing the DHP 1.0 PCM, you will need to perform the Security Relearn Procedure. This procedure allows the PCM to function properly in your vehicle. Follow the steps listed below completely.

Attempt to start the car by turning the key to the Start/Run Position.
Observe that the vehicle fails to start and that the security light is illuminated.
Release key to the 'ON/Accessory' Position. (DO NOT turn key to the 'off' position.)
Allow the vehicle to sit with the key in the 'ON/Accessory' Position for no less than 11 minutes.
Turn key to off position and allow the vehicle to remain in the 'OFF' position for no less than 30 seconds.
Repeat #1 - #5 for 3 cycles.
On 4th attempt, car should start.
NOTE : Since this is a fairly long procedure, I would limit all electrical sources, such as disconnecting headlights, to prevent discharge of battery.

NOTE 2 : It is SAFE to wait LONGER than the allotted time, but it is not safe to wait less time. I.e. 12 minutes instead of 11 minutes should be safe; however, waiting 10 minutes instead of 11 minutes is not safe.

Properly executed, this procedure should take approximately 35 minutes to complete.

If you mean the starter motors, but the engine does not turn over, then it is your timing belt. If the engine turns over and won't start, I would suspect the electronic processor.
