For a good idea check out "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". Gays are thought to have a greater fashion sense but it's a stereotype like anything else. Being gay doesn't make you dress different (unless you're into wearing the clothes of the opposite sex)

WTF, are you serious? You know some gay men wear women's clothes and some gay women wear mens clothes. Some gay men wear regular clothes and that's why you can't tell and some gay women dress regular so you can't tell either. It's usually more obvious by their actions or speech, they don't have a "gay line" of clothes, I don't think, maybe someone will "come out" with a gay line one day, it'll make millions I'm sure. Some gay men do outdress the average woman though, they seem to have that eye for fashion that a lot of women are lacking these days. So they do have one up in that area.

some gay people tend to dress differently because its a statement that they want to make to the world. Like sometimes, I can walk down the street, and tell that the male OR female that I am looking at is gay because they are dressed the opposite of what they really are. For example, some girls who deem themselves the male in a gay/lesbian relationship often dress in men's clothing. The same goes for a man. If a man is the girl in a gay relationship, then the " girl" tends to dress in female clothing. It's a statement to the world that they aren't afraid to tell/ show society that they don't care what others think about them. I also don't think many people understood your question. Correct me if I am wrong, but I KNOW that you know that gay people wear clothes. I think you were just asking whether or not they tended to dress differently BECAUSE they are gay. So the answer to your question would have to be a yes( in my opinion) because gay people are often trying to prove something to someone about their lives. I think they dress differently because they WANT to stand out. If you aren't ashamed of what you are, then you SHOULD flaunt it, and not hide it. Hiding what and who you are can only lead to depression, and heart-ache. So yes, I think gay people DO tend to dress differently than others, but in a good way!

I lived in the S.F. Bay Area for 13 years and I have to say gay guys many times dressed and looked healthier than many straight guys. They wore the same clothes, they just looked better. They cared about their appearance more, it seems. I found myself attracted to quite a few and then found out later they were gay, drat! I had a gay guy say to me "Eat your heart out" one day when I couldn't take my eyes off his boyfriend, he was so good looking. Of course then there are the ones who dress in drag......sorry the feet and nose are too big and the taped-together boobs just don't cut it! And the dyke women dress like men.

Gay people wear the same type of clothes straight people do. Clothes are clothes, and people are people.

So your blanket pronouncement on gay habit is in accordance with a pattern length of three human beings? by ability of the same token, i ought to wander right into a Nascar race and say that each and every physique white human beings have bloated beer bellies, super belt buckles, and southern accents. not in basic terms are you able to not are anticipating all gay habit based on your unfavourable pattern, yet you have possibly met a plenty larger sort of gay people who don't extra healthful your stereotype so which you probably did not peg them as gay.

i would have to say so.
most straight guys just roll out of bed, slip into whatever is the least smelliest in the hamper, put on a trucker cap and go!
gay people are sexual creatures. so, when we dress, we dress to attract.
