Book Report prompt explination?

Well I'm doing a summer reading book report and it says "Write a 1 1/2- 2 page response to the literature (no plot summaries)...". What does it mean by no plot summaries?

Don't simply write what the book was about; write either how you felt about it, or how you responded to it. Don't say, "And then the evil sorcered did... and the prince did this in return..." Respond about something that captured your interest, or stirred your emotions. Or just analyze it.
